Adam never really took the Gerber #######. I have tried to feed it to him before we moved but he refused to eat it. so now I'm back to feeding him whatever we eat. He eats about anything but I'm having a hard time feeding him because of my every day morning sickness. I just want to throw up when I think about butternut squash....*gag*.

Anyway. adam turned out to be a climber, he can climb on anything, through everything (say..doggy door) and even gets out of his playpen. He stands up every now and then (more frequently since yesterday) and is all proud of himself for not needing to hold on to anything. Also he understands what I say, which is great cause he crawls to get his own paci or sippy cup now and I don't have to go no more

I thought I'd peep in and say hello! Its been a long time since posting, but I wanted to show you all my beautiful baby girl, who turned 10 months yesterday! We're going back to England in 2 months for a visit, so hopefully she'll do well on the plane. :)

Hey! I know you don't remember me (I was a n00b when you quit) but wanted to say hi! Good to see you back :)

btw does it hurt when the doc takes it out..?

It wasn't a day at the park, but it wasn't that bad either. I was mostly distracted talking to the doctor. She thought it would be a cute idea to show me it. It looked like some bloody alien embryo. :dead:

Gemmacat--Your daughter is adorable.

I also make my own baby food, but have used gerber peas and greber green beans before because for some reason Haneul and Iseul don't like my homemade versions of those. Maybe it's the texture? Anyway, since they decided to like avocado I stopped worrying about them eating green beans and peas so much.

Do any of you use the wholesomebabyfood.com website? I really like it.

And speaking of making baby food, that is what I need to start doing right now. Later!

Kristi

The mirena IUD usually lightens your period or stops it completely. I am no fan of hormones in any form regardless of amount, so this wasn't really an option for me, but lots of women have them and are happy with them. Worth looking into.

I have this one and it works really good for us. Before I had this no other birth control worked (2 pregnancies and a miscarriage while on birth control). So far so good. You do have sorta irregular periods but overall it works great for us!

May 11 '09 - Case Approved 10 yr card in the mail

June - 10 yr card recieved

Feb. 19, 2010 - N-400 Application sent to Phoenix Lockbox

April 3, 2010 - Biometrics

May 17,2010 - Citizenship Test - Minneapolis, MN

July 16, 2010- Retest (writing portion)

October 13, 2010 - Oath Ceremony

I had my appointment yesterday and well the mirena costs 600 bucks and they have to see if the insurance approves it before ordering it. Like the dr. said, it is worth it in the long run. My sis in law said the IUD is free in Afghanistan but the plane ticket to get me there will be double the price

We have insurance but our funds for a year will be nearly gone if I get the Mirena...I really want to get it and see it as worth while. I wanna start working soon so that we can have more financial stability so I can get it.

I thought it was really funny and ironic when I used the money I got for Kindergeld exactly for the IUD I got in Germany. Don't think that was the purpose they had in mind.

Those suckers are expensive. I wonder why no one will cover them though. Seems cheaper for evil insurance companies than pregnancy and babies are. Odd.
