i know u do ur own baby food.. did u buy one of the "Baby Food Processors" or do u use a normal blender..?

DH just bought this and i cant wait to try it out later.. but first i have to wait for the baby cubes that i bought from ebay.. lol

Yey for the mommy corner.

Yes, I do my own baby food. WE use a reglular blender for everything, even meat etc.

I don't have cubes, I use a silicone muffin form for 24 little muffins and once the food is frozen, I put the cubes in freezer bags...very easy. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0000DC65S/ref=no...mp;linkCode=asn

yeah i tried that too with our first born.. but it didnt work cuz i had lots of frezzer burn after a week or so..

and i really love these cubes cuz u can take them with u wherever u go..

I have missed you ladies. Motherhood has been great for me, I love it. It was hard to leave my son today and come back to work today

Adam has been having problems with constipation ever since he got the antibiotics for his ear infection. I'm afraid that the antibiotics kinda wrecked havoc to his little belly. So I'm only feeding him small amounts and only once a day and then he's only getting food that is high on fiber like prunes, peas, pears, applejuice, prune juice etc...I hope we're getting this lined up again soon. Luckily I still make enough milk to get him full on breastmilk.

sorry.. hope adam feels better.. maybe u should go back to the pedi and see if there is another problem..

we have D's 6mo check up and shots next week and i dont wanna go..

i couldnt post yesterday cuz we had an emergency pedi & hospital visit.. not fun at all..

i'll update soon... gotta get a hold on our stupid pedi first and see if the hospital contacted them.. ugh

maybe we schould PM all the new (and old) momms to tell them that we got a "mommy corner"..

when D was about 7 weeks he got a lil bump between his neck and shoulder.. it was the size of a rice corn.. the pedi said it's old tissue or old blood.. nothing to worry about.. well on tuesday evening after i gave him a bath it was still lil.. he didnt sleep all night and everytime he fell asleep he woke back up screaming.. wednesday morning i noticed it was all red and it was so huge it was bigger than a black bean.. i called the pedi and the nurse said we gotta come by ASAP.. hubs was already far away withhis work and i had no choice and i woke MIL up and we left about 20 min later.. the doc got really worried and she said we gotta go to the childrens hospital ASAP to get an US done.. she said it might be still the old tissue or something else but she wont say anything until she has the US results.. well we went to the hospital and got it done (worst thing ever.. he cried sooo hard.. omg) they said the pedi should have the US results that afternoon but they closed at 12pm.. last night was bad too.. he woke up al the time screaming.. i called back this morning but the pedi is closed at 10am.. #######!!?? is it a holiday or what.. ugh.. so anyways he needs a lil operation no matter what cuz whatever that thing is it needs to come out ASAP!!

OMG..poor little sweety. I'm so sorry you have so much trouble with your pediatrician. I'm wishing you all the best and hopefully it's nothing bad.

As for Adam's constipation. I've been giving him prunes and pears and Breastmilk the last couple of days and today he already pooped three times. It wasn't much and it's still firm but by far not as hard anymore. I'm so glad he's getting some relief.

**UPDATE***

our pedi finally called back around 10am this morning.. she still didnt had any results but since his bump got bigger and red we had to go to the ER right away.. we got there right before 11am and waited till 3:30pm till we saw a doc.. ugh.. D wasnt allowed to eat anything during that time cuz there was a chance he had to go to OR right away.. so the doc said after his US results its a "Lymphadenitis" (a lymph infection) and since its that big and red he cant OP cuz its really infected and they gotta treat that with antibiotica first (3x a day for 7 days) we gotta go back on monday at 9am and he might have a OP that day if its better if not he has to wait till its better.. he needs to stay for 2 or 3 days and sure i am gonna stay there too.. cuz hubs need to go to work and i am not leaving him alone.. well we got done at 4pm and by the time we got back home hubs was home too.. after his work he left to the wrong hospital.. lol

I cannot believe they thought that bump was only old blood/tissue and then it turned out to be this!! I am sure your little guy is strong though and will come out of this with flying colours, please keep us posted. Try to hang in there, I can only imagine how worried you and your husband must be, but I am sure everything will be alright.
