I have searched this site front to back and looked at the dept of state website and can't find a list of documents needed to be sent to NVC. I am currently in the Philippines visiting with my wife and would like to bring back the ones we will need to send.

Any help would be appreciated

Here's the official DOS site. http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3176.html

Search for your embassy and then click on List of Documents that need to be submitted to the NVC.

Applying for a Visa

An appointment package is sent to the agent or the applicant. (See note below.) The appointment package gives the applicant an interview date and tells you the specific requirements of the visa. It includes instructions on where to go to have the required medical examination. During the interview process, an ink-free, digital fingerprint scan will be taken. In general, the following is required:

A passport valid for travel to the United States and with a validity date at least six months beyond the applicant's intended period of stay in the United States (unless country-specific agreements provide exemptions).

Birth certificate

Divorce or death certificate of any previous spouse

Marriage certificate

Police certificate from all places lived since age 16

Medical examination

Evidence of financial support. A completed Form I-864 Affidavit of Support from petitioner/ sponsor is required.

Application for Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration, Form DS-230, both Part I and Part II

Two immigrant visa photos

Proof of the marriage and the husband/wife relationship

Payment of immigrant processing fees, as explained below

We are also thinking of spending time in Makati doing some shopping and enjoying a nice evening at the thel bars there. When are you heading back at home? Hope you will earn something about your petition soon. Gud luck. Keep me updated ok. Don't know we might even run into each other soon. Take care and enjoy your nice vacation here as well.

Laguna is about an hour north east of Manila. Nice place and if you golf at all you will find it fantastic. We found a really nice Hotel in Makti for cheap. It's called The Durban Street Inn on Durban Street of all places LOL. We got the big Room for 1,300 pesos a night. I still have some marriot reward points so we are going to be staying at the Renesance Next Fri and Sat. then flying out on sunday the 28th. enjoy your time here and keep in touch. I am in heaven
