Yep Tucson...and yes, they changed over because corn syrup was cheaper than cane sugar. I think if they would have stayed with sugar, people would have paid the extra for the better taste.

Amen to that. Funny thing though is they switched to HFCS and denied to the consumers that it tastes any different.

just go to any hispanic section in any grocery store, specially walmart, or go to any 'carniceria mexicana' or 'tienda mexicana' and you will find the sugar cane coke, sold in glass containers.. but you need a bottle opener! lol..

I've seen "Mexican Coca-Cola" at Central Market before, but I never purchased it. I was usually too distracted by everything else. Well, that and they always have tons of free samples. I love that.

I was going to originally write "Mexican Coke" but I knew someone would misinterpret that. Probably on purpose too.

last year it was scarce, cuz people were buying it so much, that the local distributors went and whine to the govt, and stop the imports for a while.. but yea, I love it..

I usually buy apple soda from the hispanic market, thats my favorite one.. they have the sweet one 'Manzana Lift', and the more natural flavor "Sidral Mundet"
