Me (Luis) (L) Vera met 02-2004 and we have decided to get hitched. I'm from Texas she's from Czech. I completed the I-129F petition and mailed it off today. OOOWEEEE!!!! Wish us luck ....ps this site was very helpful. I followed every instruction on this website and the USCIS website and calling C\S. Lets hope no RFE's.

Not: I called USCIS to verify which service center to send my petition, Texas or California. It appears, according to the USCIS website the service centers are reorganizing to which center handles certain applications. C\S advised that I could still send to Tx Service Center. I hope i sent it to right place.

04-11-06 I-129F sent TSC

04-12-06 I-129F arrived/ TSC 10:47am(foward CSC)

04-13-06 I-129F CSC receipt date

04-19-06 I-129F NOA1 Notice Date

04-21-06 check cashed $170

04-24-06 I-129F NOA1 received my mail

06-30-06 NOA/RFE IMBRA Supplement Questionaire

07-05-06 Mailed IMBRA back to CSC

07-12-06 CSC Recieves IMBRA Questionaire

07-13-06 Touched for some reason

03-28-07 Verbal Approval --YEAH!

04-03-07 COURIER DELIVERED VISA

07-12-07 Fiance arrives to US.

08-09-07 Married

08-10-07 Set Interview Appointment/NFOPASS- 08-28-07 (DORA PILOT PROGRAM)

08-28-07 Interview 6:15am and AOS/EAD/AP $1010.00 payment -verbal RFE>I-693

2 March 2006: NOA1 dated (received in mail on 9 March 2006)

4 May 2006: NOA2!!!!! (DAY 66)

8 May 2006: File Sent to NVC (as stated on email dated 9 May)

24 May 2006: NVC sends our file to London Embassy

8 June 2006: Packet 3 arrives (DAY 101)

25 August 2006: Pack 3 sent to London Embassy registered post

29 August 2006: London Embassy receives my Pack 3 - 9/9/06 pack 4 arrives

SEPT 2006:APPLICATION PUT ON HOLD - WE HAD A FALLING OUT.

MAY 2007:RESUMED THE VISA APPLICATION

6 June 2007: Medical @ 2.30pm - need to get anew GP letter and psychiatric evaluation

7 June 2007: INTERVIEW @ 10am - waiting for new police record letter

3 July 2007: APPROVED/Visa arrives

Good Luck. You can submit your petition to Texas but it will be forwarded to California.

My fiance is from Texas also and we filed at TSC. They've since forwarded it to California so yep you've sent it to the right place. We're only just beginning this journey also and I agree with how great it was to find this place.

2000 - Met online in yahoo chat rooms (had known cousin and brother for a year or two)

06-10-2005 - James visited Australia for first time on ETA- met in person

02-14-2006 - Engaged on Valentines day!

03-1-2006 - James returns to the US after 9 wonderful months visiting together

03-15-2006 - Realise we can't live without each other - James visits Australia again

03-24-2006 - I-129f express courier to TSC

03-29-2006 - I-129f package arrives in US, picked up by TSC 5:33am

04-05-2006 - Receipt Notice for NOA1

04-06-2006 - Money order cashed :)

04-11-2006 - Received NOA1 in mail!

07-04-2006 - Received notification that RFE sent on June 23 - Still waiting to actually receive in post.

We sent a letter to CSC to cancel our application. Can't afford repeated air flight tickets to see each other and there's no way we can be apart. Married and staying in Australia :)
