Q.36 on DS-156 Has anyone ever filled immigrant visa pet...

Yes, my ex boyfriend did and I was granted De Facto Spouse Visa - Australia (we werent married, we werent engaged), I flew there and came back after 2 months, I asked him to cancel the visa and he did after me urguing him, it was cancelled in summer 2006. Shall I just wrtite my exes name and leave it without explanation? Coz it ponly ask yes/no and if yes, who?

Are we going to have a problems with it? Oh no, i m such a worrier :rolleyes:

March 18, 2008 - Biometrics Appointment Tampa (for I-485 & I-765)

March 21, 2008 - EAD Card Production Ordered

March 25, 2008 - EAD Approval Notice sent

April 23, 2008 - AOS Card Production Ordered

April 23, 2008 - Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident

April 29, 2008 - Received GREEN CARD

Sept 21, 2009 - Divorce

Dec 9, 2009 - I left USA to go back home

Timeline

Its not clear if you were given a K1 or K3 (or CR1) for USA. You must describe it even if you didn't use it to migrate to US. Good Luck

July 7 Received Passport in 3 weeks

Shredded all immigration papers Have scanned images

If you, verunka, are the beneficiary, and you, from czech republic flew to Australia to be with your then bf (who is from Austrialia), I don't see how US immigration would care either way.

I may be completely off on my assumptions, but there wasn't enough information provided.

Just answer the question on the form - yes and the name.

However, you should consider possible questions they may ask at your interview and the answers you will give.

If the visa was for entry to Australia, not the US, the answer is no. The question relates to the USA only.

Yes, it was for AUS, but DS-156 asks if anyone ever filled the petiton and yes, its confusing and I dont want to lie and blah blah blah....
