Hi everyone, im Cherrymae, ive been reading and always here in the forum for more than a year now,

im married to an american guy for almost 6 months now. and we're about to start the cr-1 visa, i have a 4 year old son from my exbf before and my husband is willing to petition my son

we cant afford an immigration lawyer and also becoz of the increase of the fees and two applicants (me and my son)

i am really hoping that members here can guide us here with this process,

as of now, i cant understand the documents needed. do we also need pictures of us together?

been trying to look for the exact list of documents, and exact payment to be put on the check.

how much for mine, and how much for my son.

we dont know anymore how to do this if i cant get any help here. and i really believe that with all the experiences member have here, for sure you can help us

im gonna thank u in advance for any tips and infos

Godbless us all....

hi cherry mae

we were once like you... so confused on what to do... ur in the right site, there's alot of people here in VJ who can help you along the way... but first you have to check on the guides section on which is the best visa for you and ur husband ... if you choose CR1, you can find the step by step process in the Guides Section.. hope this helps..

God bless you on your journey!

Hi Cherrymae, you don't need to have a lawyer to do this. All you need is research, read everything you can find online especially here in VJ.

Check this, it might help you choose what Visa to file:
