Quick Question

Hi guys!!

Just a quick question - I want to make sure I have my facts straight in a letter to my OH's senator but I can't find the info!

Correct me if I am wrong, but were Texas and Nebraska (is that right? The two service centers that no longer process I129-f petitions anymore anyway) stopped from processing I129-f petitions in a bid to improve quality and speed of service and processing?! Or am I completely barking up the wrong tree - I never really thought about it too much because it happened and however it affected me I couldn't change it, but now I want to help write this letter and I don't want to look a complete moron by putting down the wrong info!!

Of course I don't mind looking like a moron here so please do me a favour and don't say it out loud no matter what you might think

Basically I guess what I am trying to say (oh no - I caught the long-winded-post disease from my OH!) is why is it that only California and Vermont are processing these petitions now? Was there a good reason for it all?! Was the USCIS trying to improve service/speed in general or were they just deciding to prioritise other types of visa?! I've checked the USCIS website but can't find the info

This letter issued by USCIS touches on the subject. It does mention "Through this Bi-Specialization effort, USCIS continues to align similar workloads between two “sister” service centers, CSC and VSC, to better manage cases and improve customer service."
