my fiancee has tb and it is cured she has xrays that shows it has not gotton any worse. are w elooking at any problmes?

Sep 21 2007 Proposed and she accepted
Dec 9 2007 Arrived in Manila
Dec 15 2007 Returned home, very sad day
Dec 21 2007 Sent Form I-129F to CSC
Dec 24 2007 Packet received at CSC
Dec 31 2007 NOA 1 received
Jan 02 2008 Check cashed
May 05 2008 NOA2
May 12 2008 Received letter from NVC MNL2008xxxxxx
May 19 2008 Paid Delbros fee at Metrobank
May 20 2008 First day of medical
May 21 2008 Told to return for sputum test
May 21 2008 Delbros confirmed receiving payment
May 27 2008 Delbros sent proof of payment to USEM
May 27,28,29 2008 Sputum test done
June 6 2008 Delbros sent doc ver request to the NSO
June 27 2008 NSO doc ver completed, to be picked up by USEM
July 1, 2008 Called USEM, doc ver is at the embassy
July 30, 2008 Passed the sputum test and finished the physical
Aug 5, 2008 Interview, PASSED received PINK SLIP
Aug 12 2008 VISA IN HAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you God

Three words.....Early Medical Exam! If she has a positive TB test in the medical, they will likely require additional tests. Waiting for the last minute to do the medical exam at St. Luke's might jeopardize your interview and resulting visa.

I can't speak to whether your case will result in a denied visa. I think it depends on what happens in the medical. I believe I have read of situations here before where a person with a past case of TB was given medication that "cleared" it up and they were able to get the visa. I also know that TB is a disease that can cause visa denial. To be honest, I am not sure of the specific facts of either case, but wanted you to know there is hope. I am sure you will get the response you need soon.

make sure to take advantage of the early medical as what others have done! and if your fiancee got records of her medical treatments, its better that you have those handy... just in case needed...

August 2007 - filed I130

September 2007 - filed I129F

April 24, 2008 - interview and VISA APPROVED!

May 02, 2008 - visa in hand, had the CFO stamping done at once, bought ticket online...

May 03, 2008 - flew to US to be with stinky love...

July 22, 2008 - Sent AOS Package to CHICAGO Lockbox

July 24, 2008 - received package

July 29, 2008 - NOA for AOS and EAD

Aug 01, 2008 - Touched....

Oct 01, 2008 - Received EAD

still waiting on AOS
