Hi everyone, I filed my AOS papers and they were received July 20th. I did receive my biometrics appointment for Sept 13th but to date I have not received a NOA 1 for my AOS.

Should I be concerned about this?

I would not worry about the NOA1. If you can contact USCIS and they will ship out another NOA1.

You have your biometrics appointment notice, so your AOS case is well underway. The AOS case# is printed on the notice for Biometrics. Besides, NOA1 only shows your application was accepted (and your money taken). It's not like your AOS case is lost in the system. The NOA2 is what you are really wanting!

Depending on where you live, the NOA1 may or may not be all you need to get a driver's license as another respondent stated. Here in Houston,Texas, Fernanda had to wait until she had her Green Card in hand. Depends on your state's laws.
