signature say's i've exceeded quota

Was there a new rule put in place last night about what can be in your siggy? All of a sudden the time tracker that I had showing how long I've been in AP is gone and replaced by a red sign saying I've exceeded my quota. It's just kind of weird because I am still seeing siggys that are much larger than mine.

12/28/06 - got married :)

02/05/07 - I-130 NOA1

02/21/07 - I-129 NOA1

04/09/07 - I-130 and I-129F approval email sent!!!!

04/26/07 - Packet 3 received

06/16/07 - Medical Examination

06/26/07 - Packet 3 SUBMITTED FINALLY!!!!

07/07/07 - Received pkt 4

07/22/07 - interview consular never bothered to show up for work.

07/29/07 - interview.

I assumed that the download restriction was put in place by the smiley generator as tickers from other sources seem to be displaying OK.

17th March 2010 - Started the removal of conditions process

22nd March 2010 - Application received by CSC

30th April 2010 - Biometrics appointment

They reduced the size of the signature a long time ago. I used to have all sorts of stuff in it but when I went to add some more it gave me a size error. I think they want you to use the timeline feature rather than put milestones in the signature. Maybe it saves server space.

Since I have been poking around on here- I have been seeing those red squares on more peoples sigs.

It must just be the tickers and things like that are causing problems.

Some signatures appear "short" but in fact, have much coding which limits the number of additional characters that can be added.

Doodle - have you removed the exceeded quote tag and tried to put back your ticker? VJ (AFAIK) does not place little message boxes in your siggy when you exceed. That looks to me like the ticker site you were using changed something.

1- mycontrol ...

2- edit my signature ...

3- click on the red box that shows up .. and delete it

4- update signature

Older members could have longer signatures if they haven't updated them since the restriction. I know I tried to add some things and had to completely revamp my signature

If you look at where the red box is being "served" from it is coming from www.smileygenerator.us (or something like that... It is not coming from VJ

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
