on my upcoming interview, im bringing my fiance's 2006 ITR which was prepared by taxslayer.com, i told him to contact IRS and request for his 3 years of ITR, but this is the only thing he can provide, but i am backing it up with his W2 form years 2004-2006, i dont think he'll be sending his employment letter or any other memo of active military duty, but ill have his recent paystubs, do u think this will be fine? oh and do i have to get parent's consent to marry? im 23, i think i heard from someone that i need to have this letter of consent from my parents, any input will be greatly appreciated. THANKS

regards;

Jen

Being 23 years old, you just need parental advice and not consent to get married. I advice that you bring your parents to a notary and have them execute an affidavit to that effect. Hope this helps :)

myla :)

I'm 23 and they didn't ask any parental consent document. I also brought w/ me during the interview my fiance's W2's since last 3 years but they only took the 2006. I also brought the employment letter but they never asked for it. As they say its better to be overprepared. The consul/pre-screener asks each interviewees different things and if you don't have them, you might be placed on AR. I'm not trying to scare you though....might as well as bring them all.

CFO "sometimes" requires a letter of consent to marry from the parents of the immigrant!

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!
