My case was completed June 2007, does anyone know why the NVC is taking so long to set an interview date?

I called today, the lady told me the same thing I was told since August! that it just hasn't been set yet. They set the interview every second week of every month!

I am is such a bad situation none of my family is in Mexico, I had to drop out of college! and have been here for almost two years now!

at least I get to go to Spain in a few days to see if I can get my Spanish citizenship, and the go back to the US with the visa Waiver.

I live with my brother in law's family, and it sucks here, also I am about to turn 20 the 13th.

should they hurry before I age out, meaning turn 21.

is anyone else having the same problem the NVC taking to long to schedule an interview with Juarez!

NVC doesn't schedule the interview. The US consulate in Juarez will schedule you interview.

Also you mentioned your age. What type of visa did you apply for?

Reeses16 NVC schedules interviews for some embassys if they have told her this when she called then shes right NVC is going to schedule her interview its just a matter of waiting till they do so. They schdule interviews on the second week of every month so if they dont have interviews till december they will not set her interview till the second week of Nov and she wont find out till 4th week of Nov at the latest (for example )

I wish I had better news for you, but unfortunately the Juarez Consulate generally takes 12-14 months to schedule an interview.

Here is a link I found showing the average number of days people wait in each country between their NOA2 to their interview. As you can see, Juarez is at an average of 589 :(

thank you to all, Juarez is such a busy embassy!

I am applying for an IR2 visa which I have been told at the Juarez embassy that its way faster than the regular IR visa!

well I guess I have to play the waiting game!

Hopefully I can get my Spaniard citizenship! my mom is from there, except she lost it in 2003 when she became a us citizen. She did asked for her Spanish citizenship back, she was suppose to get this June....ughhhh waiting sucks
