Okay. I fart and I burp. In front of my husband. He farts and burps in front of me. I don't think it's gross (unless it's particularly smelly) because it's natural, and everyone does it. Why marry a man I can't fart in front of? I couldn't imagine spending my life running out of the room to fart or burp.

So who farts and burps in front of their S.O? How long were you together before you did? We were together about six months before I farted proudly (ie not trying to muffle the noise) in front of him. I mean, I'm not all like "Hey honey, I got a good one comin'! Listen!" But I now just fart whenever I have to, and don't try to hide it.

Farting and burping? It is natural but shitting and peeing is natural too. Would you do those in the presence of your loved one?

You mean, will either one of us enter the bathroom if the other is busy taking a leak or a dump inside?

Absolutely. :yes:

here here

if someone cant go to the bathroom while their spouse is in the shower, i wonder what will happen when one spouse is bedridden? does he/she just lay in a diaper full of ####?

wow 6 pages on burping n fartin'..we all seriously need to get out more ;)

Kids IMO do the smelliest and least self concious farts - even proudly claiming them - or occasionally denying in the face of overwhelming proof.

Me: (when there's me and her ONLY in a room and she's just trumpted loud enough to wake the dead) Jaysus!! ####### was that..what've you been eating!

Her: It wasn't me...

:lol:

:lol: LMAO!! How old is your daughter? When my cousin was four, she used to LOVE sitting in your lap and farting, then giggling about it.

I have the greatest first fart story.... I hesitate to tell it but here it is.... It was the 4th night we had together during our first meeting. Passion was high we were in the heat of the moment and one of us let one go...purely by accident.... the fart-er shall remain nameless. But it was funny!!! We will never forget that as long as we live.

Letting one rip in the car can be interesting when you have cloth seats because if you run into the store for a few minutes after letting one rip, when you come back and plop your a$$ down on the seat again it is released all over from the foam.... :yes:

Have you actually done research on this? What happens if you have leather seats?

No research required, this is the voice of experience...Many a time I have blown the seat out of my pants on my cloth seats, only to return to my car and be overcome by the fumes of my previous release. It's got everything to do with open cell foam, which loves to harbor the bounty of my butt :blink: ....As for leather, it has no avenue to retain the odorous mutations, so it is promptly dispersed. I'ts like dropping an egg on tile, the tile doesen't absorb the egg, it just spreads it out....

*SNORT* Is it really hereditary? My dad was like that too. He'd cut some monstrous, bass-tone, rippling toot that was so bad we practically had to spray the house down with milk of magnesia before we died from the fumes, then sit back and expect the rest of us to deal with it! Good gracious, some people ought to come equipped with yellow caution flags.

My but you do have a way with words. So does this have a time release effect? Perhaps saving a little for the next seat occupant? And dont you ever roll down your windows?

:lol::lol:

OMG, :::::shudder::::: That could lead to all-out war. We'd have to call the fire deparment in to administer oxygen to the afflicted.

same here :whistle::lol:

I can understand why some people would think it's gross, but I feel completely open with my hubby and he does with me. To me, if you can see eachother in your birthday suit and deal with all that, why not anything else? :lol: Also husbands usually watch their baby being born and experience that scene...why can't they also walk in a bathroom that their wife is using? :hehe: (And vice versa) Just my opinion of course!

i think many, many people are missing the point here. as a nurse and a wife, i would most definitely take care of my husband should he ever become incapacitated and vice versa ... that goes without saying.

of course i, like the rest, am completely comfortable in every aspect with my husband ... he's seen and touched every part of me.

that being said ... this does not mean he has an open invitation to share in my bathroom activities. this is something i CHOOSE not to share with him despite of our comfort level with each other. this is not an issue of closeness.

letting your spouse watch you poop is not an indication of how much you love them ... sorry! at what point does it end?? do you feel comfortable picking each other's noses as well??

I don't think it's an indication of how much you love them, but there is a certain comfort level of not minding if your spouse needs something out of the bathroom while you're in there. Some people think it's nuts, some don't! I think some people do much weirder things in the bedroom! Why not pick a nose? :lol: (not that we do that, but not to say I never ever would!)

Yeah like if my hands got cut off in a tragic food processor accident, I'm sure my wife to pick my nose for me.
