My husband and I fart and burp in front of each other all the time.. not a big deal at all.. I think we started doing it during the first meeting time (which was almsot a week long.. somewhere near the end..) He's pretty gassy and sometimes I am too so it wouldnt work to run to the bathroom all the time anyways..

i have irritable bowels, so passing gas is not a choice. as far as belching, i make fun of her ex when i belch because he would belch loudly and say "damn that was a good one"

The average healthy adult farts 45 times a day so that would be a helluvoalot of running to the bathroom. Of course there are times and occasions where it's rude to slip one out but other that I find it normal and natural. I can't imagine hiding anything from the other half - a little gas is not gonna harm us

Hard to type with these tears streaming down my face! Here's an odd bit of info for ya... Neither my husband nor I will fart in front of the other, for which we are both profoundly grateful. Burps are allowable when unavoidable, with the hand covering the mouth and the required "excuse me" following it.

HOWEVER, my love discovered on our first long visit together, that I have a hidden weakness. Since he has always considered me to be "cultured" and "sophisticated", he found it hilarious.

There was a scene in one of the Sopranos episodes where AJ, Tony's son, was on his bed talking on the phone. He let a loooouuuud one rip and exclaimed "DUDE! Meeting over!" I fell off the couch.

I'm not usually scared of the noisy ones (those DO crack me up)....it's the SBD (silent but deadly) ones that knock me off my feet. I walk into the room where the offense has taken place and HOLY SHAMOLY!!!! Even the cat runs the direction!

My husband has no problem farting around me...but at least he will warn me before hand. although it almost never fails that whenever we are playing/goofing around fighting one just cant help but getting through!

I, on the other hand, have never really been a farter to begin with. For some reason, i cant rip one unless im in the potty. My husband 'claims' that i fart in my sleep too....hey, i cant control what happens at night!

oh, btw...burping is fair game, and i would win if we had a burping contest, hands down!

Man, it amazes me that he can do the loudest farts asleep in the middle of the night and NOT wake up! They make me sit bolt upright and think '#######'????
