Just wanted to find out who got the following approval email saying - "On DATE, the application for 485 was approved and an approval notice was sent ..." have subsequently recd "Card Production ordered" email. In my case i received Welcome new citizen notice in mail and an email saying Approval notice sent but haven't seen anything after that. My 485 was approved on 26th Sept email receved that night welcoming new resident. On the 5th Oct receved email staing Approval notice sent. Did the ones who got approval notice sent email, receive the approval notice too? Please post any details you might have.

So have you received your green card yet, then? Because when you receive that, that (or rather the bit of paper it's attached to) IS the approval notice. It can take a little while from getting the email to actually receiving the card in the mail, though.

Congrats. :)

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

Nope no card or email saying card ordered.

Hmmm... well, the order my emails went in was: 'card production ordered', 'welcome notice mailed', followed by 'approval notice sent' (if you look at my signature, you can see how many days there were between them all, but they came in pretty quick succession) - I think that tends to be the order that most people (or many, at least) get the emails in. But if you received the welcome letter and have also had the email telling you your approval notice (ie green card) has been sent, then I wouldn't worry about the 'card production ordered' email - the USCIS automated emailing thing doesn't always do what it's supposed to, and the online status doesn't always update when it should either (my AP is still showing as 'received and pending', for example, when I received the document in the mail in mid-August!)... with any luck, you should be getting a green card in the mail any day now! How long since you got the 'approval notice sent' email?

If my friend has not received the card and it’s been about 9 month, they went to the USA immigration office and they stamp the passport, with he’s residency #, however no card, is there a phone # or email I could send to someone for help???
