Do you need an appointment to go down to the SSA office? I have never been in my life, the website is cryptic about it, and I don't want to call their ### number again.

No need appointment! You just walk in and wait!

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

No need for an appointment, however, give it 2 weeks after getting green-card before visiting them, it takes some time for USCIS to update the database with immigrations status used by the SSA to confirm.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

We just showed up and took a number! The first time we were there a couple of hours but the next time it only took about 30 minutes to get served.
