Good morning, where is everyone? Today I have to take Khalil for his 9 month check up and shots (oh no!) then we are going to Potomac Mills which is a huge outlet mall near DC to go Eid shopping. I am getting Youssef some pj's and crocs and the new Usher perfume for Eid. Khalil and Mikhail are both going to get a new outfit. And as I'm sure Youssef will have forgotten/not had time to get me something I am going to do it myself LOL! We had a good meeting at work yesterday and so I think that my situation there will be getting better soon - at least I really hope so! Have a great day!

Another long day at work today. Thank God there's no doctors in the office tomorrow. Tomorrow I'm getting all my hair chopped off! I'm so tired of dealing with it every day and my husband told me yesterday that he likes me in short hair!!! I don't think I've heard too many men say that before. Anyhow, I'm going for something short and sassy....kinda like me! LOL!

I typed something up then I lost it...I hate that.

I was just sayin Good morning and that I hope all of you are warmer than I am. I am freezing and I don't know what I'm going to do if this stays until spring.

I checked out that Usher cologne too...it was nice but not better than the armani I like so I replaced his empty mania instead. The new stuff thats out now is disappointing...there was one that smelled nice, frgot the name but it was neon green like antifreeze...I had to leave it there. I'd stick with the clasics this time.

Does anyone wrap eid gifts? I'm thinking no. What are you all doing?

Amera- Have fun shoping!

Aymerlu- you are my hero. I hate my hair but I am way too chicken to let it go.

Jackie- hi!!!!

Have a nice day everybody

Just another day at work

But at least I haven't gotten in trouble for the henna on my hands yet  I wouldn't let them put it on the tops, just the palms so I hope it's subtle enough no one is going to say anything... I'm not sure it's entirely against the rules, but then I haven't finished orientation yet (missed the rules and policies days) so they can't hold me accountable can they  Oh well!!! :P

I don't have any family here, and there are ALOT of women I know at the masjid, so I don't know what to do for Eid... I'm thinking I'm just going to make some cards to give out. I've only been going to this masjid for 3 weeks so I don't really know the procedure there.

Oh, they did gift wrap the gifts they gave out to the little kids last night :) they were so cute!!

Just finished a meeting and now our server is down for the umpteenth time today. blaaah.

Is it just me or do men go through cologne a lot faster than women go through perfume? I have bottles of perfume from like two years ago. I WANT to use them up so I can get a new fragrance but I feel guilty buying a new one when I already have two that aren't even half full.

Well unfortunately jury duty was a bust! I read my book for 3 hours then they decided they weren't ready to proceed with the trial so we all went home. I guess I have the rest of my life ahead of me to get onto a jury. I think it would be interesting.

Last night for dinner Hicham and I had baked potatoes filled with cheese sauce, brocolli, turkey bacon and more cheese on top. I would definitely reccomend this recipe! It's a while dinner within itself.

ETA: too late to edit but I had to fix my spelling for my own sanity. Thanks.
