what will happen to I129F packet if...

hi guys...

this is making my husband worry and furious... we sent our I129F to california but written I129 instead I129F on the address part (original submission I129), we know that I129 and I129F are different thing... but we sent it to the right PO BOX for I129F... will they sort it and send it to the I129 BOX?

what will happen to our packet?

I have no idea what will happen. But try not to worry. (1) you can't do anything about it now. (You couldn't even call if you wanted to since you don't have a reciept number yet), (2) they will either return the application to you or they will forward it to the appropriate area, and (3) you will be able to confirm where/how your application is processed when you get the Notice of Action. On this form it will tell you what you filled for (129F or 129).

I hope they take care of everthing automatically and you don't have anything to worry about.

thank God! we were able to track the package and made USPS changed the label even before USCIS can pick it up...thank you for ur reply...

Its the PO box that is important with California. They have all sorts of POs for different things so if you sent the petition to the correct PO it shouldn't be a problem.
