I'm having my biometrics for AOS taken next week,

and I'm hoping to get a travel document by the beginning of February 2008

Yesterday I realized that my husband is going to need a visa (strange... I, for some reason thought that just because he is my husband, he's going to be allowed to enter the country just like that  I am so naive...)

Anyway... If we wanna leave on February 1, 2008

do you think it is too early to start worrying about his visa now?

My parents are going to get the visa entitlement certificate (izveshenie), but I'm wondering... since i still don't have a travel document, they are not going to be able to put the date of our arrival/depature in Russia.

How exactly is it done, and how long does this process take?

All you have to do is enter and leave within that 90 day period you specify in the invitation.

As for the whole process read my post below:

Right now is a good time to start the processes.

It's never too early to start the visa process.
