Hey all...Yet again I need more help... :help:

Just found out that Islamabad Embassy requires BIRTH CERTIFICATES IN BOTH URDU AND ENGLISH. Is this correct? They ask for an Urdu Version too??

I have one in English but I dont know where to get the Urdu version made from???

Does anyone know where in Karachi can you get the KMC Birth Certificate made in URDU? My English one was made in the 80's and my parents are clueless where to get it made from now!

PLZ HELP!

Hi. I don't know the answer to this question. I am hoping that someone else will come along that will have an answer for you. My fiance will be interviewing at the Islamabad Embassy as well, so I would like to know this in advance. His birth certificate is in English as well. This will be very helpful to him to know this. I will be checking back to see if you got an answer. Best wishes.

iris sis,my original birth certificate is in urdu,as i got it from local muncipal office.for visa processing i got its certified translation in english.and in packet 3.5 there is a clear instruction to send original birth certificate in urdu+one photocopy and english translation+one photocopy.now i dont know about karachi.if they issue the original in english then u dont need to get urdu one i guess.but if they issue original in urdu and u got only its english translation then u have to get it from ur local muncipal office i guess.u can get it from local muncipal office/baldia office/union council office where birth record is registered usually by paying fee there.that is just my own opinion and also my own experience.lets see what other persons say about this here.

The one you have in English should have a date when they register you in Baldia(Municple corporation), you need to bring a copy of that certificate to Baldia's office and ask them to pull it from the old record. It may take some days since they do not have any computer database yet. Thanks to Pak Army!!!

Also, you may have to give them some Eiddie(since Eid is coming) to get this thing done. In this way, they will do the weeks' work in a day and you will get what you want(You know how things work there!) Good luck to you!!
