I had my interview back in Feb, before that I didn't get any ASC notice for a biometrics appointment. I had my first biometrics done the same day I had my interview (the officer sent us there), the officier also said when he got my fingerprints we would get our green card after 2 weeks.

But my fingerprints weren't good enough, so went to redo it in March. This Mon we got a letter said "ASC Notice" and gave us a date to do our biometrics (didn't mention anything about redoing fingerprints or anything else). I supposed they didn't know I had my biometrics done already so still sent me this.

I am wondering if anyone had their interview before biometrics...??

It isn't unusual for the AOS interview to take place and the Green Card be issued as soon as the biometrics are done.

When you had your fingerprints done, when the officer sent you down to the ASC, did they take your photograph too? I think you will find that full biometrics includes a photo. If the officer only sent you for fingerprints, the photo may be what they are waiting on.

Sorry that you have had to go back so many times, but you are so close now. As soon as they get your full biometrics done the card will be with you really soon.

Our journey started in 2001 and it's still not over. It's been a rollercoaster ride all the way! Let me off - I wanna be sick!

Girona - Its actually quite common now - several of us were in the same scenario but the interviewing officer would just order same day biometrics and we all had them done the same day despite them being sceduled differently. I think its the different workloads at different areas that is leading to this but I would suggest that patricia - you either call them or go there and find out if they want another set or not. We had received the biometrics appointment but it was sceduled after the interview - the interviewer took the biometrics appointemnt letter from us and issued another order for same day biometrics. Good Luck

The officer sent me for the full set, I had my photo (they asked me to take my earings off don't know why), signature and fingerprints done, just redid my fingerprints once. If I still don't have my green card next couple weeks, we will have to go back to Houston and find out why.

We tried to call the 1-800 number on the ASC notice, but they said there's nothing they can do, they don't know if my biometrics is completed or not, we need to check with our local office.

Do you know any other numbers we can call to ? If not guess we will need to go down there if I still don't have my green card
