(F) you are in my prayers

Hi Members.

I am still around and would like to share with you the thread below from which my hopes have been escalated.

Your Prayers and good wishes have not only kept me going but also inspired me immensely. My worries have diminished each day and I feel superb in readiness for what lays ahead.

With the information I got from this forum plus other sites I finally concluded and continue to believe that nothing is IMPOSSIBLE and am filled with hope after reading the story of a lady who has been recently approved. There is always light at the end of every tunnel, however long.

I wish you all well and success in your journeys too.

will keep you posted.

Sorry to heard that. They will denied you. :( That is contagious disease. :unsure:How did you get your HIV+?

rude :bonk:

:blink:am I?

Yes. And stating the obvious won't help much anyway. Guess that was rude now, too. Sorry!

To the OP, there was a case of a USC married to a Russion woman which was eventually approved. I read about it in another immigration forum. They were both HIV+, though, don't know if this makes any difference.

Health insurance (or the lack thereof) will be the biggest hurdle to overcome, IMO.

Good luck and all the best for you!

Have you talked to an immigration lawyer?

That sounds encouraging.

My hubby has not gone for a test yet but will tomorrow.

I will research more on the possibility of our approval while we prepare fo any outcome.

My intentions are to go for a second test then go ahead and look for a lawyer if we are completely satisfied that the results are +ve..

We have a good insurance coverage and are hoping that nothing changes.

Thanks.

I am so so sorry..........May God guide you to the right path

I am in the process of adjusting my status from student (F1 Visa) after marrying a US citizen.

My medical tests which are a requirement by USCIS resulted with a HIV+ status.

This is the most devastating thing in my life and am now very worried about my interview and the whole process..

Can anyone help me by advising me on what we should do??

I am afraid that the whole thing is messed up yet I have already lost my student status and on the route to the end of life....

Anyone with any kind of advise please share with me.

Will this lead to rejectection and if so, at what stage?

Is there anything we can do to ensure a smoothness?

Thanks in advance..

Sorry to here that, remember your life is not over, believe and say your prayers as you go through this journey. Praying for you

Thanks for the info..

It is hard to believe that I am so helpless...

I wish you all the best too,how are you doing now? This post is a little bit older now.

As the others said there is good drugs out there that can infact let you live as long as smb that is negative.

I used to work in a doctors office and we had 2 patients that I knew of with HIV,they where taking good drugs and have a low viral load and have had the disease for several years now and live a normal happy life. They learned to deal with the illness and all is good.

According to the medical research magazines that we got in our office there is new medication coming on the market in 2009 that can constantly keep the viral load down.

Actually, you don't know this for a fact about the AOS application at all. By reading some of the info here in this thread you would understand that the OP has a chance at getting the waiver approved. I also think the OP is fully aware of the implications of the illness in regards of giving it to others. ;)

Would you want them living with you in your home sharing items and being a health risk to other US citizens? Very doubtful they get issued a visa to come to the USA in this process.

Apparently you didnt read the thread zqt. This OP does not need a visa as they are already here.

With that I am closing this thread. I do believe this thread showed the ability of VJ'ers to see past a controversial issue and provide help & guidence without moral judgements. Since the OP has not been back recently, and in light of some of the judgemental posts since the bump, I am closing it.

OP - much luck to you, we would love an update form you, however best to start a new thread. Thanks!
