:help: Is there anyone out there that has gotten their I-130 approved before their I-129F? I keep hearing that it is not a normal process. I got my I-130 approved but my I-129F is still out there in limbo and it's the I-129F that I want to go with :help:

Why do you choose I-129F over I-130??

It seems to be the case lately, my guess is - you have to file i-129f for K1 and K3 visa's, and i-130 only for relatives, perhaps fewer people get married first, but in reality immidiate relatives get priority over others

(like fiancees).

I am looking at the process of my paperwork, and I think I wil be in the same boat you are, my I-130 is moving faster than I-129F process.

Let me know what you decide and why.... I am sure I will be in the same position you are later on and very interested :))

Sorry I could not give you an advice- good luck with the decision!

Eva.

Wayne,

I'm in the same boat. I didn't file the I - 130 for my daughter either cause I kept hearing the I - 129f would go faster. I'm ending Day 67. What the rf;lkdj;adsl ? Just want to be with my damn husband. How many petitions can there be? And how long does it take to do one ? I'm am so sad it's unbelievable. I pray my I 129f is approved before the I-130.

Come on NBC ? Pick up the slack !!!! We are real families.

Ms Buttons

You feel the same way that my wife does. I mean I was happy when I got the approval on the I-130 But with our situation it is as usefull as eyeglasses to a blind man. If the I-129F is to be a faster alternative to the I-130 then what the f%$# is really going on? :ranting: I have my I-130 and don't need it as of yet But I am in dyer need of my I-129F (maintaining two households is a major pain int the glutes) and it still is not here in fact I still can't see it on line. So what is really going on???? :ranting:

Just because the I-130 approves first does not mean that you have to abandon K-3 petition. You only have to abandon K-3 petition if the I-130 reaches the consulate first. The reason many people are going with K-3 petitions is that they process faster than the I-130. My I-129F was approved almost a week after my I-130 was, but my husband will still get here sooner with the I-129F (K-3 petition) since that petition spends very little time at the NVC while the I-130 can spend months at the NVC.

Hello guys

I feel your pain. My receipt date is Feb 2, and last time it was touched was Feb 15th.

My baby girl was born March 12th and I can't be without her anymore.

This is driving me nuts.

The funny thing is that my daughter already has her US passport,

we are waiting to hear from USCIS about my wife's case :crying:

Hope all ends well for all of us pretty soon.
