Oh please, spare us from that at least.

The only people who win from mudslinging and emotional advertising are the people making the ads. If I was truly cynical, I would probably invest in whichever media companies are currently comanding the budgets. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that the same companies are making ads for both sides of the political divide either. It's pathetic really.

I shall refrain.

Well that's convenient. Go back or do a Google search on the comments that have been made in the Right Wing blogosphere and here in this thread. All the, "Those Dems had it coming to them for daring to use this 12 yr. old boy and his family...blah, blah, blah!" Gary, if it isn't already painfully obvious to you, at least it should be to many here and across this country, that the tactic of the Right Wing extremists of the Republican Party is to Swiftboat anybody and everybody who dares to stand in their way, regardless of the facts. Even you have stated here that it's the Dems who resort to the bulk of it and you asked me for evidence so I gave you a Bush Ad that's so deep into the emotional that you drowning in it (there's no substance in that add). Pure BS, Gary...and I think people aren't buying the cow anymore on it either. Shame, shame, shame, tsk...tsk.

The 12 year old says "hey mom would you run me down to the radio station, so I can talk about the SCHIP program"

The Dems used him, now the family is gettin the hammer! Dont throw a punch unless your ready to take one!

Steve, back away from your argument! Its gonna be okay, just take a few breaths.

So Stevo...what's your argument exactly? That it wasn't manipulation or that 'since the Repubs do it, it's ok to do it too'?

Are both the Dems and Repubs wrong here? (the example you showed with Bush...I haven't watched it as I can't have the sound on right now)

Are they both right?

Or...and I bet 10 bucks that you'll say this.....are the Repubs using manipulation, but the Dems are 'putting a face to it' so to speak?
