We both speak English fluently and we can communicate in our local dialects as well (my fiance better since it is his first language and my second). But we speak mostly English :)

I speak my SO's language....we just prefer English. And I think that I was introduced to him by my cousin in his language.

We spoke english when we met but it was hard. Javi wasn't fluent in english at all and I sure couldn't speak spanish. We got through it though and now we only use spanish when we are messing around. Javi speaks english so often that he forgets words in spanish when he's trying to talk to his family. It's so funny! He asks me what the word is. :unsure: I had to choose Hagen. It rocks!

My husband is fluent in French and English, I speak English (native language), some Spanish, and some French. We're teaching our daughter to speak French and Spanish. I can understand some French when his family speaks (all his family are bilingual) but they are very kind around me and speak English mostly.

Oh yeah, I voted Ben and Jerry's Strawberry....yummmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!
