 Ok I want to try and re-word my question because no one responded last time. I am trying to get my Canadian fiance into the country with the K1 visa.

In the mean time i'll be having a baby and am considering some state help to pay for child care while i'm at work. Will me being on state help affect the visa process even if I need a co-sponsor anyway because I havn't been working for 3 years, or will they look at me being on state help and deny us the visa even though my co-sponsor is very well off and not on any sort of state help.

We were married in Washington in August, we submitted our I-485, I130, I765, and I131 in Sept of 06 to the Chicago Lock Box, and got our Green card in January 07!!! Found this was much faster and easier than going through the K1 process.

ok i too would like to hear an answer on this, though i am the one coming into the us and my fiancee is the usc, she is on disdability and having our baby.

the co sponser has the means and more to qualify and we will be staying with them untill we can get settled on our own and i can work.

i wouldent think it would make a diffrence as that seems to be the whole reason of having a co sponser, but some clarification would be nice.
