Still can't check Case Online.

Our noa1 was in july, we've already had our biometrics appointment and EAD has been ordered but still can't check our case online. Anyone else? Did anyone call them, and if so, what did they say?

Case status online is not very consistent. You are not the only one who still cannot access online even though the biometrics had been done and the EAD has been ordered. There are cases who can check online but not updated. It's useless to call them since they will just tell you the same old answer, which is wait for 90 days...

I had the same problem and when I called the 1800 number, I gave them the receipt number which cannot be checked. I was transfered to an IO and the IO was able to give me case status update and also put in a "service request" on my case to make it available online. Now this does not always happen, but I was able to track my I-485 after that, but I still cannot track my I-130. ALso you may not always be transferred to an IO either. So its very unpredictable.

We have the same - although we cannot track the EAD yet. Applied in July - no online record as of yet. Interesting thing though, I gave her one digit off of the file #, and she stated - that is a typo, the number should be MSCxxxxxxxxxxxxx4 ... I was surprised! my service request on this file had to do with a name misspelling, but I still do not have access online.

Then Press 6

you will hear some options, dont go anyways u will get help by person.

make sure to have ur receipt Number ready

I just called. I followed the prompts for an RFE and chose the option for I can't find my receipt number. That put me in touch with someone there that transfered me to an IO after she couldn't find my case. But the IO told me my wife had to be here, he wouldn't give me any info. When I told him I was the sponsor and her husband he said it didn't matter because even though I was the petitioner of her I-130 she's the petitioner for the AOS?? Is that right? Or should I try calling again to get somebody different? Guess I may have to try and call after work, does anybody know how late they're open?

well dont ask me u can ask them LooL

by the way if u dont get enough help from the IO tell him/her may i speak with the supervisor, he will transfer you directley with no problem. and she will be able to tell u about ur case because some cases still not in their system yet, but i believe the Supervisor will be able to let you know..

The USCIS is not very good by keeping up with your status online. We have had better luck by requesting them to email us whenever anything changes in our case. We have had our biometrics and received our EAD and our interview, yet our case has said since day one, "Pending".

That is correct - the alien is the petitioner for adjustment of status, as its their application for the green card.

Have your wife call later (or tomorrow).

I guess you couldn't know.

We can check her EAD online, which showed up when we got the paper NOA1 back in July but have been unable to check her AOS status.

My EAD showed up online only as the "Card Production Ordered" message was put up. I had checked an hour or so before I saw that message and nothing - an hour later it showed:

Application Type: I765, APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On October 3, 2007, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service.

I cannot check my AOS or AP however
