My I751 was received on Oct 3. My check has not been cashes yet. Plus I got to know the service centers are overwhelmed.

It only worries me more. It is more therapeutic to talk about it here than keeping it to myself.

Now I can think of potential problem of my petition:

1. The date on I751: At the end where we need to sign and date the form. Since I filled out the form before I print it out at last. I typed in the date. Then my husband and I signed it. I do not know if the date by the signature has to be hand-written. Does anyone have any experience about this?

2. I had my name completely changed when I got married. I have a document from the court. I submitted it in AOS. For some reason, I did not think I needed to submit it with I-751 because it had been submitted before. Now I am worried. The name on the greencard is completely different from the name on passport.

3. My name on the lease: My mom-in-law (the landlord) used my name "Rebecca (+maiden name)"on the lease. Everyone knows me by that name here. But this first name plus my maiden name was never used officially. The name on passport is a translation name from chinese name. Since that name was never official, I did not put it on the I751 as alias. Now I think it may be a problem.

1. The date shouldn't be a problem

2. Ying is in the same situation. Her maiden name is on her passport and her married name is on her green card. We also sent in a copy of our marriage certificate linking the 2 names.
