(F) Hi guys, small question. What is the duration of the biometrics appointment? Especially in Tampa as it is where I am going to.

Is there a crowd of people scheduled for the same time, and you have to wait in line, or you just come and you are done in 5 minutes?

I need to plan the day of my appointment, that's why.

Typically you will be in and out within an hour.

All they do is fingerprints, and take a picture.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

The ASC in Brandon (which serves Tampa) wasn't a good experience for us - others have had no issues, but the staff was taking their time and talking about what to get for breakfast, and taking one person every half hour (no joke). Finally, some one in charge showed up and they started moving a little quicker, but we were there for 2.5 to 3 hours.

And it looked like they scheduled people in the hour or half hour - because a whole bunch of people would show up at one time, then no one for long stretches of time.

I missed a day of work for that and I couldn't even sit with him while we waited :P

From what I've heard, this is irregular for this office, though. (The wait, not the seating arrangements.)

awwwww. Maybe my husband just did not give me the report properly. There was no mention of breakfast sandwhich debacles, or the like, although he does tune out quite a bit. I am hoping 4 times a charm for us (whenever we get the appt :D)

They were fighting in the break room about where to order breakfast ... we were sitting in the back corner filling out the paperwork, and then after they decided they had to figure out what everyone wanted  at first I thought it was funny until I realized how slow they were going...and now in hindsight, it is funny again.
