I keep reading and reading trying to find out what I actually have to take to Montreal for our interview. It's getting to me, the paperwork is all starting to look the same. I just need someone to tell me what I actually require. The letter from montreal just indictates all required documents (orginals and one photocopy of each).............that doesnt help, since there was alot of paperwork...Please someone help meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If your time line is correct, your I129f was approved within 12 DAYS of filing? Is this correct?

How did you manage that?

We just made sure we had all the paperwork and did alot of research on how to assemble it the first package. I didn't think that was fast.......we are still waiting for the interview.

I know that an RFE can cause delays, but plenty of people file correctly and still have to wait.

But sour grapes aside, lucky you :)

yeah congrats on that!

you should check out some other timelines, yours is the most amazing by far! We filed in late May, have not been approved, and are losing hope re being reunited before the holidays since chances of getting approved, passing through NVC, getting an interview etc are mighty slim.

So count your lucky stars! Might be a combo of VSC and Montreal...who knows...you filed at the right time, that´s for sure.

Good luck during the interview.

If you look in the guides you will find everything you need to know, look in the guides rather than in others posts, a little searching in the right place doesn't hurt only helps.

Get yourself a load of files and mark each as pre the subject within and that will help youi keep everything in order.

All the best to you both.

Read the guides for something I may have missed and make a copy of evrything.

When we first started the process we were told it was fast...............until you get to the interview stage and then there is a wait.........It's been the longest part of all. All I can say is make sure you have anything in order when you first apply for the K1, and do some research on how to put your package together.

yeah congrats on that!

Claudeth took the copy of the packet I filed for the K-1 and then items to prove our ongoing relationship. She took cards and letters and messenger printouts and a couple of big three-ring binders full of pictures of us.
