nerdette,

Based on your time line - I would think your NOA2 would not be far away, assuming the RFE information you sent back was acceptable to them. In theory, your I-129f would have been approved the day you got your RFE and the same theory goes for when they get back around to your petition (with new RFE information). Luckily the fact that you got an RFE doesn't reset the clock - it just delays it a bit. Hang in there...

Hi baby nerdette! hubby here waiting for your love to come to Houston. I'm happy that our paperwork was touched and that progress has been made, but I'm upset that others here have filed near the same time we filed and there paperwork has not been touched! I'm hopeful our journey is nearing completion here, but what's going on with our governmental processes here in the states?! It's been dragging on for oh so long.

our lawyer filed around April 17, 2007. We were in Brazil on our Honey Moon and DHL our paperwork to USA, right after the wedding.

We paid with checks, because money orders are not possible to track.

First check Cashed on May 24, 2007 ( I- 129f, $ 190)

Second Check Cashed on July 10, 2007 (I -130), $ 170)

First NOA July 09, 2007 (SOOOOO DISAPOINTED THAT IT TOOK THIS LONG FOR THEM TO GET TO OUR PAPERWORK)

Transfer to CSC July 24, 2007

Still waiting.....

No news on I - 130 yet.

I heard that there was a computer glitch in June that messed up lots of applications....

we are in the same timeframe and we will be moving on to the AOS process in a few days. I don't know how to add the timeline at the bottom here (and don't need to know), but feel free to check out our timeline from profile.

Cheers, and best of luck

I just got approved today, and i'm excited. Hopefully, the rest of you start getting NOA2 rolling in here. I initially filed my I-130 in early/mid April, but due to a stupid address change/mixup, they didn't give me a NOA1 until May 18th. Now the dilemma starts on what which visa to go with...

I-130/CR1 visa

04/23/2007--NOA1 Date from CSC

10/15/2007--NOA2 Date, FINALLY!!

I-129F/K-3 visa

05/23/2007--NOA1 date, currently at NBC (MSC)

10/15/2007--APPROVED!!! (NOA2 Date)

11/09/2007--I-129F petition forwarded to U.S. Embassy in Lima, Peru

12/12/2007--interview in Lima, Peru...VISA APPROVED!!!

12/26/2007--POE was Miami, FL and final destination was Charlotte, NC

I-485/AOS and I-765/EAD

3/18/2008--NOA1 Date from MSC

4/08/2008--biometrics appointment

5/07/2008--I-765/EAD approved

5/14/2008--EAD received in the mail (albeit wrong birth year)
