Hello everyone. I hope everyone is doind well. I just want to know that since my husband has received his visa and well be arriving in New Orleans 10-15-07 what is the next thing that I need to send to the immigration. I want to go ahead and download the forms and have them ready for him when he gets them so we can send them in immediately. Should I apply for his social security card and work authorization card now? :help:

You guys don't have to do ANYTHING next but kick back and enjoy life for awhile.

He should get his GC and SS card [if checked on the DS 230] in the mail within a month of arrival.

Next thing will be to apply to remove conditions 21 months from date on the GC.

Have fun!

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

Did your husband come over on a K3? If so, he will have to apply for EAD in order to get a social security card and of course, file for AOS, these can be done together. If he has an international license, he can transfer his license at Secretary of State. He will have to take a written and driving test.
