Well this is a case of we just don't know. Chris had an operator who gave a good response and told him everything. I spoke to two separate operators and neither of them mentioned the additional info I needed (this does not surprise me as my RFE was full of information that didn't really relate to what they wanted).

When I spoke to them I was quite specific about asking them what was needed (as I fully intended not to wait for the RFE but just send it along with my own cover letter - which I in fact did).

The IVR does not reflect that they have received my second submittal yet - I will call them tomorrow and speak to them if it isn't updated.

We will find out soon I guess whether or not they accept my additional documentation.

(Oh and trailmix is a her not a him - what self respecting guy would have a mouse for an av! :) )

Anyway, just got off the phone with NVC, as of today they have accepted that second set of documents I sent for the DS-230 RFE - so that's good.

Now we just await the 'case complete'.

So that proves the theory of sending multiple responses to an RFE being validated!! :thumbs:

This is the theory we are proving?:

When you receive the actual RFE from NVC, if you find you missed something in your shortcut response, you can just respond again with the additional items and they will accept it into the file for review! (though the case might have to go to the back of the line of cases waiting for NVC review because they had to pull the file from the stack to add something ... ).

If so, once Maureen gets a "DS-230 Review Complete" message, I will include this information in the final RFE shortcut instructions.
