DS230 RFE address

Hey guys! What is NVC address for sending DS230 RFE? I mean a real RFE and not the I864 JS one. Is it the same Address: (ATTN. DR). I remember the DS230 Address was ATTN. CMR. Anybody who just received a real DS230 RFE like trailmix or Jayzar... Please let me know what is the actual address as I am soon sending what they need before even receiving the checklist.

They do not provide a return envelope when issuing an RFE.

I will do the same thing too...

NVC is stubborn, and refused to look for the documents that they have lost. They told me to wait for the checklist, but I am stubborn myself too that I will send them my photocopy for the original packet I sent them. I did not tell them that my husband will obtain the originals again, but that will come into my mail next week the soonest. I am just frustrated right now.

My wife should send the RFE documents straight from Morocco to NVC via DHL to save time. Will that be fine if I am the agent of choice? I have never tried DHL to send documents to NVC, any potential issues with that?

I always ask my husband to use FEDEX..but DHL should be ok too

I was told by the operator I am missing a second Police certificate, therefore, I am requesting from my wife to go ahead and send that. Is there any chance the actual RFE letter may include more missing docs than what the operator has told me? I have spoken already with 3 operator and they all told me the same thing (missing second police cert). Ideas?

If they are telling you something different all the time, then request to speak to a Supervisor.

Yes, they might omit something - they did with me - you can't be 100% sure until you get the RFE.

Yes, they might omit something - they did with me - you can't be 100% sure until you get the RFE.

If you are getting consistency and completeness in their answers (i.e. no "and some other things" in their response), I think it is likely you have a complete list.

They gave me a complete, detailed discussion on the phone, and that matched the actual RFE 100%.

trailmix is best guide right now as to what to do if it turns out their information was not complete, as this happened to him.

If you are the agent, put your name & address at the top and in the DEAR, as indicated by my instructions.

Does it matter that much; doubt anybody even reads it before it hits the trash, but you want it to look as correct as possible, don't you?

Thanks for your prompt response Chris. I guess it doesn't matter that match!! However I was thinking only the Coversheet that carries the barcode and the case number (starts with: You must return this...) should go back with your documents and nothing else.

I bet that would work, but the thing is, the letter on page 1 asks you to return both pages for some odd reason.

It is your choice what you do, please let us know what you decide and how it works out for you.
