The guides will provide you with most of the info you need -- if there's anything else you'd like to know that is not covered by the guides, then please ask!

The following two links pertain to the process you've already gone through for the most part (since you already have your visa), but you might want to read them nonetheless:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...mp;page=k3guide

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...amp;page=k3flow

And this is what you should be looking at now:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...mp;page=k1k3aos

Where to send your package depends on certain factors, all of which are detailed in the instructions to form I-485 (AOS) and I-765 (EAD).

Personal checks and money orders are acceptable, yep.

In most cases, you would make them payable to "Department of Homeland Security" as per the instructions on the form(s) (which you really should read! ;)

If you're filing for AOS, you will write a check for $1010 ($930 for the application fee + $80 for the biometrics fee).

With the $1010 you get a free ride filing for EAD and AP. As a K3 you shouldn't need a AP but may need an EAD so may as well apply for the EAD also in case your AOS gets delayed. Comes in handy having a SS card.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!
