(F) LaL. Hopefuly the traveling will soon get old for him too.

I got something in the mail yesterday.....yay I bought these diet pills on ebay. they claim to burn off 90 lbs in 6 wks. I don't know if I have 90 to spare, but I do got a few so I'm marking my calandar while giggling to myself. I love buying pills on ebay.

I shouldn't have said all men suck. Suck isn't the right word. I just meant that they don't always notice things like that and being upset about it just bothers you. So with love in my heart, honestly, I just hoped you'd be bothered less. I'm not a man-hater. I just don't feel good today and I probably won't say much right.

Well, have a good sunday, everybody!

Hey Dawn, hook a sista up with those pills! What are they called? My size 20 azz will be in a 12 next time I go shopping. I call it the D & D diet. If you would have told me in July that I would be in a 12 before the snow fell, I would have said IMPOSSIBLE. My new motto in life, 'never say never.'

If I go to a gynnie at midnight, he better have candles and dinner.

Four more hours of work, then playtime.

Hope everyone who's feeling sad, mad, annoyed, or even just miffed feel much better very soon ! (F)

It's a beautiful day here in San Antonio..... I hung around in the garden most of the morning, working here and there pulling weeds, pruning, tidying up the ponds, picking up pecans etc...

My lil kitty was chillin with me

2mq2joi.jpg

The fish in the pond were also hanging out

There are still water lilies blooming

And the word in the veggie patch is.....

Bandura wa bamia.....

The tomatoes are from my second planting (probably should have put them in about 2 weeks earlier.) Also not pictured: lots of red bell peppers plus a couple of green ones, some Japanese eggplants, and the ubiquitous banana peppers. Now working on my dinner gameplan....

Hope y'all enjoy the rest of your weekend

I"m going to attempt to make basboussa again tonight using this recipe that Dee sent me, though she told me to use 3/4 cup of water and sugar for the syrup part. I'll let ya know how it goes. http://www.egyptdailynews.com/recipes/egyp...20basboussa.htm

I feel like a wicked slug today too. I did a lot of housework and laundry yesterday so I guess it took it's toll. Slept through suhoor though and that is not a good thing.

I want to say to Sarah and anyone else that I may have ticked off this week that I am sorry. Sometimes topics become very emotional for me and my reactions are out of emotion and not well though out. So, I'm sorry. (F)

So we talked, and your right whoever said he probably didn't even know what he did, that's what I got but it really did upset me. So I'm taking the $35 I have until Tuesday (payday) and going to buy some paints and hide in the room tonight, watch the Packer game and paint and then inshallah I will feel better. On a side note tomorrow I'm starting in my graduate courses! The first step to getting my MA has been taken and while I'm a little scared I am also excited for this new chapter and hopefully a new, better job!

I'm here but not for long, tee times in three hours

I found this in my email this morning.

Many years ago in Scotland , a new game was invented. It was ruled "Gentlemen Only...Ladies Forbidden"...and thus the word GOLF entered into the English language.

I thought of you when I saw it. lol

Hey Amera,

Glad to hear that you spoke with your husband and let him know your feeling - hope that he will make some amends in the future...

Congratulations on the Graduate Studies - I am so excited for you and must say that I admire you great deal that you are able to menage so much - you two boys, your job a husband and now grad school on top of cooking some amazing stuff - that is what I call a superwoman - you are a hero in my book..

Best of luck with you studies.

D.
