hi guys! my wife is working as a nurse in the US as LPR. She filed my petition last Feb of this year and got the receipt from USCIS. Now, it's been 7 months and we haven't got the approval yet. How long does this process usually take? She lives with our 15 month old daugther and i miss them so much. :crying: I also feel so helpless coz my wife does everything from working to taking care of our daughter.

We heard of the visit visa. Can any one give us an idea how it works? Or if there are other options for me to visit them even just for a couple of months. It would really make us all happy. Please help us... :(

I miss them so badly...

You can try but unless you have very stong ties to your country, especially with the Philippines, it will most likely be denied. You need to be a land owner or have a good job or lots of investments so it would appear that you would return after visiting.

Hopefully you wife will be able to get you to the states soon. Good luck

You have a 5 year wait for a Visa.

Probably best for them to go to you.

How long does she have to wait until she can get Citizenship.

Hi. She's been there for two years now. I'm not sure how long will it take her to get her citizenship. Our daughter was born in the US though.

Probably

5 years as LPR, so 3 more to go.

1 year to get Citizenship processed

1 year to get your application processed.

So 5 years, could be 4 if you are lucky.
