yeah, I know it is hard ... yeah, maybe a plan is the way yo go....

I just want him to be healthy and with me for a very long time...

sister marilyn, i agree and i know, he wants the same..but it is hard for him and he has had a rough end to the year as you ahve had..and maybe, this is not the time to totally quit, but to slowly taper off...

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

The drug Chantix is AWESOME. Maybe he could make an appointment with his doctor to talk about it?

But that's only if he's ready to quit. He's gotta be ready on his own.

sister marilyn, i agree and i know, he wants the same..but it is hard for him and he has had a rough end to the year as you ahve had..and maybe, this is not the time to totally quit, but to slowly taper off...

yeah, I know... he did quit for a few months and then started up again a few months ago... these past couple of months have been rough... maybe I should just give him some more time...

but for him I think that cold turkey is the only way to go.... but the problem is that his brothers smoke and so when he is around them he is tempted to smoke and usually does...

My doctor told my husband that I wouldn't stop getting sick unless I was in a smoke free environment and pretty much told him he had to quit or I would suffer. I love that dr! I call him dr feelgood :thumbs:

Hehehe is it possible to realize you love your partner MORE after they quit smoking? :innocent: Man I love my newly smoke-free hubby. :star:

yeah, when my hubby isn't smoking it is great because i can kiss him without having that smoke aftertaste :P or hug him without smelling the smoke on his clothes...

I hope he comes around and quits. Smoking was always a deal breaker for me. I kissed a smoker once and it was absolutely disgusting. I just broke it off and said never again.

As for my rant, I hate the flu so much. I have gone from the worst sore throat evah!11! to coughing my lungs up to 104F fever to now feeling so absolute nauseous and miserable. I hate the flu.
