Ok, I just had to vent some frustrations.. ARRRGHHHHHHHH,

Freaking USCIS, like so many other ppl, I call to find out why it is taking so long and get a different story each time and then they have the nerve to tell me to be patient. It sucks to be away from each other for so long and I feel that we have been more than patient enough with USCIS incompetence..

Our lawyer is another complete arrogant idiot, We retained a lawyer before we had found this knowledgable, informant website by the name of VisaJourney. The only reason we retained him is with 3 children we did not want to chance screwing up any paperwork or anything like that. This idiot lawyer promised us that it would be faster to go through him and get the K-3 visa. Maybe normally that is the case, but again this was before we found VJ. To start off with Christine and I turned all the completed petitions and forms in to him on May 24th, That idiot did not send them to USCIS until June 14th and that was via snail mail. After receiving the NOA from the I-130 I just assumed that the idiot knew what he was doing and had sent in the I-129F petition. Finally on Aug 4th, after patiently waiting for the NOA on the I-129F I emailed the lawyer again asking once again if he had received the NOA and I get a reply back that he was waiting on the NOA2 from the I-130 before sending in the I-129F.. I was :angry: and informed him of when he was supposed to file it and refered him to USCIS if he doubted me. Well of course even though we had sent him all the signed petitions in May he did not have it ready to send in and he was going on vacation until Aug 21st. :angry: Because of that idiot we are 2 months behind schedule, and he has the guts to tell us that he knows what he is doing!!

It is bad enough being apart throughout this long process.. But the personal turmoil we all have to go through. Christine has put up with so much and has done it all alone.

Christine had to have major surgery on Dec 4th and then the oldest boy's birthday was on Dec 13th which she was home for, but to top things off the day after his birthday he was hit by a drunk driver and was seriously injured. He is doing good now but the doctors were not sure if he would make it throughout the first couple of days.

Now after finally getting my congressman involved we find out that the freaking USCIS misfiled the petitions and after a congressional inquiry they inform the congressmans liaison of finding our I-130 petition in the July petitions and asked the congressmans office for an extension until Jan 21st to process our paperwork. Now I understand that because the I-129F petition was delayed in filing that the I-130 petition could have been delayed on approval to wait for the I-129F to catch up to it. But if so, then why was it found in the July petitions?

I am so freaking frustrated with this slow process.

I-485, G-325A, I-765, I-131.

05/29/08 AOS sent for Christine and the children.

06/10/2008 NOA 1

07/01/2008 Biometrics

07/18, 23 and 25/08 Physicals

08/30/08 Employment Authorisation (valid for 1 year)

08/30/08 Authorisation for Parole

11/19/08 SSN (valid for work only)

12/04/08 Initial Interview appointment / Rescheduling requested

02/03/09 Interview appointment / very easy, very nice officer, not too many questions, our evidences were enough

02/03/09 Green Card granted for the four of us

02/16/09 Green Cards arrived in the mail

why did hubby buy another pack of cigarettes when he told me his last pack was his last one?? :angry: :angry: :angry: :angry:

I know he bought another pack because there is a transaction for $3.95 from our bank account and I know that is how much his cigarettes cost :P
