Hate weekends when USCIS is dead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There, there. Calm down. We all hate USCIS. They are the big fat hairy rocks that have become the bane of our existence. They are in the same devil league with banks, dentists, and insurance companies. Perhaps a little therapy is in order. Have you considered going to Walmart and leaving a thin trail of orange juice or lemonade all the way to the bathroom? And speaking of bathrooms, go in there when its really crowded. Grunt and strain real loud for about 60 seconds. Too little effort and you wont attract an audience, too much effort and you may scare them away. Now stand on the back of the bowl and drop a canteloupe in from a bout 6 ft up. Enjoy the resulting screams from the adjacent stalls as the water splashes over. Adding corn or tootsie rolls to the bowl before hand is optional.

If neither of the above works, go to Brother Dean's hooker and therapy thread. It seems to be soothing.

You know what I hate?????

I hate when you call some place and you get this machine that talks to you and tells you to enter your phone number or your account number into the phone which is a pita if you're on a cell phone and then you are on hold for like 1/2 hour and guess what......................the customer service rep asks you for your phone number or your account number.

Why the heck did you just make me punch it in if you're just gonna ask me for it again??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Oh but the Almighty Automated Voice Response System is never wrong! It is pre-programmed to cater to your every whim! And it promised me it would pass on all my information to the "next available customer service representative". And do you know who the next available customer service representative is? Some dork who just came back from a night of cow-tipping, whom the boss grabbed and said "You! Dork! Answer the phone! The person on the other end mistakenly thinks they are going to receive some customer service!"

I recall my mother having to sit through a seemingly endless call queue one evening, after having imbibed more than her fair share of fermented vegetable drinks. "Im tired of waiting", she sighed as she hung up "all currants are agently busy".

That is so frustrating! I am so sick of waiting. USCIS needs to get its act together. NOW!!!!!

I know I need to be patient, and I am trying to be but its just so frustrating that all the service center's processing times have increased sooooo much since May 2007. Its taking 5 - 6 months just to get the petition approved, then you have variable times for the consulates.

Hence we are here to vent in this thread! Just needed to let off a little steam.

Oh yeah, that's a sure thing, I felt like venting all the time as well, and my processing time was actually a good average for the K1 and quite fast for the AOS.

I'd try to get distracted with other things though, one can lose their minds thinking about the process, I know I almost did.
