Finally, case is done.

Hi all, My case is done at NVC. But i just wonder how long it takes for them to interview (at HCM embassy). If someone knows please put some input and also, what kind of questions they usually ask at interview, please share to me. Thanks alot all.

08/24/2004 - Filed I130 (i am green card holder :) )

02/14/2007 - I130 Aprroved

05/31/2007 - Update to US citizen (IR1)

07/2/2007 - I864 fee bill sent

07/23/2007 - I864 form sent

07/30/2007 - IV fee sent

08/21/2007 - They said they sent DS230 to me, but not yet received

09/15/2007 - Got DS230 and sent back to NVC

10/03/2007 - Case is done at NVC.

12/14/2007 - Interview at HCM embassy.

01/23/2008 - Back to State together( hopefuly :) )

Just be patien heh?, it will take like 2 weeks for it to send to HCM City. Then like within a month, they will send you a Package 3, then you have to turn in the form DS-230 part I and II back to the Consulate office. After that will take like 2 months for them to send you Package 4, with the interview date and Medical Exam. For your part, you can Fill out the form DS230 for your love one and send it to her. You can download the form DS-230 on the USCIS website.

You need to call IRS to get your 3 years Tax Transcripts. They can send it to you for free.

06-12-2007: AOS Package Recieved

06-19-2007: Check Cashed

06-22-2007: NOA1 in the Mail

06-26-2007: Biometrics Appoinment Received 7-14-2007

07-14-2007: Biometrics Appointment

10-29-2007: AOS interview - still need to wait for FBI name check.

02-27-2008: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident

02-28-2008: Card production ordered

03-04-2008: Approval notice sent

03-07-2008: Green Card received

05-07-2008: California ID received (took almost a year to get it)

06-05-2008: My lovely baby girl arrived.

Make sure you rather a lot of evidences, Pictures, Phone logs, Email, Letter from your employee, Letter from your bank, Forms I-134 filled out and notaried. Tax transcripts for 2006, 2005, 2004. Call IRS for a copy they will send it to you for free. Make 2 copies, You will need it later for her Green Card here. Good luck,

Please reserve the words: "FINALLY CASE IS DONE" for thing that is important as: Visa in hand!!!! :thumbs:

This is NOT done, far from it, good chance your case may be delayed and denied, so be very careful when post message claiming anything is "DONE!"

I got my hopes up when I read the title of the thread, thinking i'll see PINK.

Hi CK&Tydi,

Thanks for the inputs, i dont know other cases but to my case, I have ready sent DS230 part I to NVC. I believe just DS230 part II, medical exam and interview at HCm embassy. That shoube it, if i am not wrong.

Any onter ideas or inputs are very much aprreciated. Thanks.
