For the ones here that want free heathcare, heres the plan. Quit your job, Then walk into your local welfare office and apply.In a few weeks you will recieve in the mail all that you desire.Medical coupons,food debit card to avoid embarassment,job training,free daycare,subsidized housing and a muriad of other benefits that are there for the taking.

If you so choose this option, I got one thing to say, and thats "your welcome" Now get out there and become dependant! :dance::dance::dance:

Noone's talking about 'free' healthcare. I worked in the UK, and received healthcare that was paid for by my income taxes. It's not 'free'. At all.

Why would I quit my job simply because I disagree with the way healthcare is currently funded?

I fund my own healthcare! If you want tax funded healthcare, quit your job. Then you can have what you want.

That doesn't make any sense, but then I guess you know that right? Working people pay taxes, taxes can be spent on all kinds of stuff, from education to policing, from government to, if one wished, health care. Quitting jobs means less taxes to fund whatever, therefore...how does anyone get a tax funded health care if noone is paying taxes????

I work. I pay for healthcare. Whether the money is deducted by the govt or I fork it over later to a private insurer the result is the same. Unfortunately the quality of care is not.

I think he might be trying to suggest that only people who don't work or pay taxes want a UH so you don't fit in the box unless you quit your job. It's convoluted logic, but it seems to fit. :D

I suppose your crystal ball is telling you what the quality of care will be, right ? Seeing the plan hasnt been implemented yet.

Nor is the amount. You get to fork over quite a bit more to that private insurer for actually less in return.
