Will it be a problem if an unemployed(and does not earn money) LPR file form I-864 ?

And what documents he has to submit along with this form?

please responed

Unless the unemployed LPR has significant assets (5 times the needed income) the problem will be they don't qualify to sponsor any immigrant.

Gets down to!

Temporarily out of work.

Filed taxes in recent years.

On welfare!

On unemployment.

Under the table cash job.

Drug dealer

Bank robber

Hooker

Or hit a winning lottery ticket

Just a little fun added to this stressful process.

And what documents he has to submit along with this form?

Most recent year [maybe 3 years] ITR, W2s, Employment letter or tax transcripts from the most recent year.

If you can't come up with that you may need co-sponsor unless you are loaded with assets.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

Thank you for your replies

I would like to know if the I-864 may be notarized by the notary ?

No, there is no place for a Notary to sign the I-864, unless the notary is also the sponsor.

Hi hani i just wanted to ask you what happened with your experience were you able to sponsor based on your assets alone without a job?? Thanks for your help i really appreciate it cuz i've been looking for this answer everywhere!!

My husband was unemployed when he sponsored me, as he was unable to find work for the almost four years we lived in Ireland together. It was no issue, we simply submitted a letter of explanation as to why he didn't have any tax returns, and proof of evaluations on our US house (which has no mortgage on it) and a US based bank account in his name.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
