Can anyone recommed any good hotels to stay near the Chennai embassy?

My personal recommendation would be the Ranjit, on Nungambakkam High Rd @ Gemini Flyover.

For Christians, another possibility is the (rather limited) accomodation at LEF Headquarters Church, just a short walk down NH Rd. from Ranjit.

Both my husband and I (at different times) just got off the train and asked a rickshaw driver to take us to a cheap hotel, they turned out just fine. Can't remember any names though! :no::lol:
