Why does it seem like there has been a lack of activity at the Vermont Service Center? There have been a LOT of NOA2s from California, but very few from Vermont. Is this bad news for me?

During your time frame I would venture to guess that CSC handled 75% of the case files. This should translate into 3 approvals from CSC for every 1 from VSC... don't know how sound this theory is .....

YMMV

Because they suck...NOA2s since September 19th----CSC 57, VSC 1 I'm happy for CSC that they are finally getting some service and Lord knows they waited too long too. The problem all starts with USCIS's bullshit 6 month goal for us, which they can make longer at any time too. Join the fight. Go read the last 10 pages or so of the thread on waiting for NOA2s from the VSC. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=74459
