Why is your wife angry with you? Is it because of waiting for the visa process? We all have to wait. There's not much we can do except move abroad and live with our loved ones there instead of here. Maybe she's lonely and you should plan a visit.

Hello Jigi,

Sorry to read your posting. You said your wife is very angry with YOU. Why...would she be angry when you are so far along in the process? Maybe she is just having a bad day...we all do from time to time. All I can suggest is to talk with her and see if there is some way to resolve the issue...whatever it may be. I wish you luck.

Sincerely,

Craig

I'm sad to read your post. I'm a K1 filer so not really familiar with the marriage visa process but having looked at the NVC flowchart on here you seem so close to having your details forwarded to the embassy.

I don't know exactly why your wife is angry but if it is visa process related then I assume the stress levels have got a little high but I'm sure her anger is not really focussed on you as much as the system itself. It is hard being separated from the one you love and people feel helpless and angry at a process which offers no certainty.

Try to encourage her that the process is underway, you appreciate it is hard but there are no short-cuts for anyone. She is probably super-stressed, missing you and feeling despondent wondering whether you will ever be together. Whenever I get stressed out my fiance reminds me that the process is relatively short compared with a lifetime together.

I'm afraid it all boils down to patience and a belief that at the end of the tunnel you will both feel this time spent apart was worthwhile.

I agree with everyone on here. You are so far along and it hasn't been an overly long amount of time. Both of you need to hang in there. Good luck to you.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

I can't imagine why your wife is so angry with you. You have come along way. You situation could be like mines. I have waited over a year and I still have not received my NOA2. I'm very stressed over this and so is my wife, but we are not "losing it" over the process. You are almost there.

I say maybe your wife is having a bad day or a bad time now... You need to be understanding and be calm. If she loves you, she will calm down. Life goes on with or without your spouse, I understand it would be very unhappy, but life does go on. Still, be calm and try to find out what is the problem and keep yoruself calm. Good Luck.

This is just so sad to read. But they are right, Don't give up. You are almost through with your petition, since your timeline said that you had sent the DS-230 to NVC Oct. 1 and you started your petition last February (that is just 7 months). Me and my husband had to wait for a year before I can get here in the US. The waiting time always sucks but we all have to wait and be patient. Just hang in there, take some time off to de-stress. Good Luck and God Bless.

brother , by saying i give up wont slove your problem , try to think what exactly wrong is right now, saying i give up , is not sloving the problem , what is indeed 7 months nothing, man, look at me i repeat my self in every post but this is true i am waiting for 4 years, then what happened to me i was rejected, we lost our twins, Miscarrige, denials, waiting for long time, and still waiting and fighting for our cause and all those things neither made me or my wife to say give up , we dont belive on these things coz we had commitment it takes 4 years or 400 years we will not give up , be brave man, this is the true test of your love, how could u run and leave everything like this? dont even think like this , stand up and say loudly I WILL NOT GIVE UP AND I WILL FIGHT TILL TO MY LAST BULLETS.

your on ur right path and close to your destination now

my prayers are with you

Allah bless us all

Amin

This is definitely a rollercoaster ride! throwing in the towel doesnt make the pain go away! Your timeline doesnt seem that there was an excessive amount of waiting. All I can say is to hang in there and im sure that your wife is just at her wits end with this process. She will calm down and realize what she is waiting for. I hope everything works out for the both of you!
