k3 /cr1

Hi,

I decided I will go ahead and send in my 129f appl, even though i waited 3 mos now and decided to file. My husband wanted me to file cr1,because he wantd to work and starty providing but now he says he wants to be with me and the wait is killing him My ? is if that cr1 gets approved first which will because i sent it a little over 3 mos ago, what will happen to the 129f. How can i let them know i want to go with k3 instead of cr1 for processing. I thought whichever gets approved first goes on to processing but i dont want that to happen. Any advice would be great

Do both and see which one works out the best for you down the line.

K3 may pop up first but it's a grummy visa and more expensive compared to the CR.

Some peeps go with the K3 and come to the US and then go back and do the CR interview and get that visa.

You can almost pay for the trip back if you don't file to adjust status for the K3.
