If I got approved for a k-1 Visa and I just got off disability and started working in Aug 07, would I be able to use a co-sponor for lack of income tax returns? I'm working now but haven't been for the last 3 years. Are you telling me I can't get my Mother to co-sponsor for me and send the letter from my employer? I'm confused? :help:

You would each complete the I134, even if you don't qualify.

Read up on the Egyptian consulate to learn more about co-sponsorship for the financials.

You are more likely to experience success with co-sponsorship in Manila if the co-sponsor is a relative.

Before you read they won't take one.

Thanks! I read this about co-sponsoring in Egypt and got very scared

Description

Review Date : March 30, 2007

Embassy Review : My husband had his review at the end of January 2007 and everyone was very nice to him he said. The only thing was is we had a joint sponsor and the guy that interviewed my husband said that he can not except it because she was not the petitioner and gave him the papers back. I was always told by the uscis and others that they accept joint sponsor papers for both K1 and K3 papers. That I guess is not true at the Cairo embassy. Very dissapointed in their decision not to accept it. We are now waiting at what they call the Officers Final Review stage for the last month.

A lot of things have changed that was in 2007. I wonder if that still holds true? I have looked for information but have found nothing. :( does anyone have any new information on the Cairo embassy regarding co-sponsor's?
