Wow..just read her post in Off Topic..she's got alot of nerve for someone that hasn't even posted her pic! I'm sure she will eventually drop into this forum and see our posts and hopefully she will feel really bad about what she said but I doubt it judging by her other posts.

I don't know if anyone else noticed, but she came out of nowhere and never posted one positive thing! As for me...I think I'm gonna use the ignore feature.

Ok, so I couldn't resist and had to go read that thread and of course, who's the ######-stirrer abt the ME/NA pics? Vanillbean... same member stirring ###### abt Simo's interview post.... Poor darlin' - she's just lonesome and has got nothing better to do :no: (NOT!!!)

LOL, now you know if you made Noura mad (she never gets mad) then you really stirred up the poo!

My "boy toy" happens to be my husband who I am deeply madly insanely in love with. If you have a problem with that then leave. We are here to support each other through this crazy process not judge each others pics. I don't have pics posted because I'm just not sure what some creep would do with them. However, if it wasn't for that I would send a certain person 300 + pics of my hottie and I. Leave us alone ... get a life .. move on ... find somewhere else to stir trouble.

Reunited and it feels so good ....

You have every right to be upset! That post was extremely rude and uncalled for. I still think its funny that she hasnt posted her pics and has the nerve to talk about others.

I am here so that I can get through this hard situation that has come into my life. I am here because I want to be united with my love as sson as humanly possible. I am here to support everyone who is doing the same. It is of no consequence to me how old anyone is or what differences they have. Would she have posted the same statement had we been men? She obviously lives by the standards of society and is a follower. There are those of us that make our own way in life and don't give a damn what others think.

YES, I am older than my fiance by 3 years. Is that a big deal? NO. Even if it was by 20 years, what is it to you? If we are happy, why do you care? I think that you really need to get a life vanillabean and I think I can speak for many when I say you are not welcome here.

I'm here, because Yacine isn't... LOL... so this was what people were saying when they said married life is boring?

Sigh.. People are so judgemental... If they have something to say about your picture/relationship, just tell them

Ok...I got a response from the embassy and guess what, we have an interview date. February 27, 2007! 50% of me is happy because we have a date, 50% doesn't know what to think bcz its 10 months down the road.......Here is the email they sent, they said they sent us the pkg on the 19th of April, neither of us have recieved it. I thought they were going to send us a pkg before scheduling the interview...guess not, I think I need to send them another email to clarify

Dear JP: :star:

We have schedule your fiancée for a visa interview on February 27, 2007 at 08:00. A package that contain a list of the required documents that he needs to bring with him to the interview date along with the appointment letter were mailed to your address on April 19, 2006.

We encourage her to review the immigrant visa instruction package closely prior to the interview date. The instruction package contains a list of all the documents required for visa processing. Failing to provide all the necessary documents on the interview date will delay your case.

Regards

Well congrats!!! At least you know what you are waiting for now! Is that how long it is taking others in Jordan? I think it is slow there they should send some of you up to Syria it only takes a few weeks there!

On the bright side you have plenty of time to get the paperwork together (hope you like humor)!! It will go by fast hopefuly you can do some visits? Hang in there it will all work out!!!!

Same reason I took our pic off. People do creepy things on the internet. I don't know who vanillabean is, but I've seen the same behavior over and over. This is a place for support for people going through a very emotionally trying process. It's a shame this person has to use it to vent on others.

Congratulations on your interview date! I know it's down the road a bit, but it gives you time to prepare yourself and gather everything they need carefully. At least you have your foot in the door now!

Congrats on getting your interview date but sorry it is so far out. Things do seem to move faster once you have the date, so hopefully time will pass quickly. Will you be able to plan a trip to visit your husband during that time?

Rebecca

This is veering off the original subject but is there belief in the evil eye in Lebanon and Egypt? Belief in jinn and the evil eye is somewhat common in Morocco (don't pour hot water down the drain because it angers the jinn).

I took the picture down of my husband and myself. I got tired of seeing a pic of myself every time I came on here!

OMG, Wadi used to get upset every time I poured hot water down the drain because of the "ghosts". LOL. Now, it's become habit for me to always run the cold water first!

Belief in the evil eye and the "unseens" is very big in Egypt as well. People wear blue stones to ward it off. My marriage ring that my habebe is bringing for me has a little blue stone in it.
